Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies Alephi uses, why we use them, and how you can manage them from your browser.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They help remember information between visits — like your sign-in or your preferences. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional.
Cookies we do use
Alephi uses only the functional cookies needed for the service:
- Firebase Auth cookies to keep the parent's session signed in (session token and identity token).
- Without these cookies it wouldn't be possible to sign in or keep the account secure.
Cookies we don't use
- Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and the like).
- Advertising or marketing.
- Cross-site tracking.
- Fingerprinting or device fingerprints.
How to manage cookies in your browser
You can see, block, or delete cookies from your browser settings. A few useful links:
- Google Chrome — Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies.
- Safari — Preferences, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
- Mozilla Firefox — Preferences, Privacy and Security.
- Microsoft Edge — Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
Keep in mind that if you block Alephi's functional cookies, you won't be able to sign in or use the service.
Why don't we show a cookie banner?
We only use functional cookies strictly necessary to deliver the service. Under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and the European GDPR, this kind of cookie is exempt from prior consent. That's why we don't interrupt you with a banner.
